2023 State-Funded ACT Information

State law requires districts and community schools to administer the state-funded ACT or SAT to all grade 11 students in the spring of the school year.  All Springboro High School Juniors (including those attending Warren County Career Center) will take the state-funded ACT on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 in person at SHS.  This test administration is funded by the state of Ohio and offered at no cost to students and families.  Students are NOT required to register for this ACT test on their own.  More information will be forthcoming as the test date nears.

In recent years, many colleges and universities have become "test optional," meaning students are not always required to submit ACT scores for college admission.  Please double check the college or university you are applying to in order to determine if ACT scores are required for admission.  Students must request that their scores are sent directly from ACT to the college or university they are applying to.  Students can request to send their scores at my.act.org. The SHS Counseling Department does not send ACT scores to colleges or universities on the students' behalf.
