Purple Star School

The Ohio Department of Education's (ODE) Purple Star Designation is awarded to military-friendly schools that have demonstrated a major commitment to students and families connected to our nation’s military. Springboro Junior High School has been recognized as a Purple Star School by the Ohio Department of Education.

Springboro Schools recognizes that Military Families face unique challenges, and our district strives to do all that is possible to help our students and their families throughout the school year. We're here to help!
 
Over 30% of our Springboro Junior High School (SJHS) students have a family member who currently serves (or has served) in the United States Military.

- The Average Military Family Moves Households Three (3) Times More Often Than Their Civilian Counterpart
