Scholarship Information

 Types of Scholarships

  • University Scholarships - These are scholarships that are issued by the university. Information can be found on university websites by finding the financial aid or scholarship link. Also, when students go on college visits, they can meet with a representative in the office of financial aid to request additional information.
  • State/National Scholarships - There are so many scholarships available, but it can be difficult to find reputable sources. Fastweb.com and Raise.me both provide many opportunities for students and are free. Also, students can search for scholarships by logging into SchooLinks.  View this video tutorial for more information on navigating the scholarship features in SchooLinks.
  •  Local Scholarships - These scholarships are funded by area businesses, donors, and organizations, and are specifically for Springboro High School seniors. All applications for local scholarships will be available via SchooLinks in the Spring of 2024.  There are about 30 local scholarships and they range from $250-$2,000. Recipients are notified at Senior Awards Night in May.
  • Federal Aid - This type of financial aid requires families to submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FASFA) which becomes available on October 1 each year. Please visit studentaid.ed.gov/sa/fafsa for more information.
Please contact your counselor for additional information!
