Board Notes

Updates:

         Mum pickup – went very smooth bc of all the volunteers

=        was an amazing fundraiser

         Night Owls – completed approximately 30 projects in 2 hours

=        had about 9-10 people finished 30 projects in 2 hours

=        7-9 this wednesday

=        every other week

=        different days of the week

         D & D/BF – went amazing, lines kept moving both parts no compliants

=        everything went well

=        thanks to the volunteers

Upcoming Events:

         Night Owls this Wednesday 7 - 9pm

=        Oct. 10, 2018

Tues 16 Doc McStuffins for kids that sold over 20 items during mum sale

=        11am and 1:30

=        split 1st graders up

=        Carrie to send list of student winners to Barb

         Christmas Catalog Fundraiser assembly – Tuesday, October 16

=        10:15 and 2:15 starting in a week

=        sending fliers home

         Wednesday October 17 Pow Wow pk/kinder

=        early release

=        Box top winner announced

         Thursday, Oct. 18 1^st gr pow wow

=        Box Top Winners

         Conferences October 25 and November 2. Need lunch and dinner Rebekah

=        Need people to help with lunch and dinner for the teachers

=        Store bought or restaurant is preferred

=        Donations from restaurants

=        Have a budget but try to get as much donated as possible

=        Will get a sign-up genius in Mid-October

         Panther Paws Painting bus parking lot  - Amber

=        Going well

=        Will get a Sign-up genius out for help with this

Start Planning

=        1^st gr movie night at high school

=        Doing a 1st grade movie night in the fall

=        Sooner vs later

=        Kindergarten & preschool in the spring

=        $100/150 for licensing rights

=        H.S. $50 g.c. To person that runs it

=        popcorn/water in commons only

=        Teachers run it

=        We just have to set it up and the teachers will man it.

=        Completely free except concessions will charge nominal fee

=        To Do Items: Calling high school, getting licensing rights, getting date

=        Miranda -- will coordinate and setup

=        Side note will have prk and kinder outside movie night in the spring

=        Can food drive -- will be in the spring.

=        Spring flower sale

=        Keeping flower sales and will try and cut out the other stuff thru the year.

=        Tara has budget information.
