OLD BUSINESS

Book Fair/ Moms and Donuts was a success. Huge thank you to
everyone that volunteer

Night Owls, last one this past Wednesday. Finished up for the year.
=
Winning Flower Sale class parties. They loved the Popsicles!
=
K/PK Movie Night was a huge success!! Despite the weather, had a
nice turn out. Ideas for next year, shorter movie, start movie a little bit
earlier, RSVPs. Had smaller bounce
house up, that was plenty.

Canned Food Drive almost 1,500 items donated

Volunteer Appreciate Date 5/22 9:45 and 2:30 in Cafeteria.

New to the District Welcome Night – Popsicles with the Principal in
the Playground. In August. Looking at possibly Monday, August 5th at 6pm

Preschool Picnic Mon 5/20 at Community Park (behind UDF)Changed
location from Clearcreek Park

Changing venue for Pow Wow Shirts. ($5 each roughly 600 Y, all
faculty)
=
Spirit Wear sale - Est.5,000 up front cost to have items on hand
for registration, etc times; sizing samples so people can try on in order to
know what size to order. Water bottles,
pens, other Boro items to have on hand to sell throughout yr, umbrellas,
=
Roll Fundraiser -- do before Thanksgiving so people can order for
Thanksgiving and Christmas. Looking at Last week October/November
=

Volunteer Appreciation
TREASURER REPORT
=
After last meeting we voted on approval for money for the book room
and cut the check to the school, the Distinct came and paid for the entire
amount to replace the books in the bookroom.
=
Money was then given back to the PTO
=
Was used for the following:
o
Paint hopscotch on black top and other games so kids can have
something to do when the ground is wet.
o
Playground equipment (a couple of new special needs swings, bouncy
items for preschool playground.)
=
Proceeds from the Roll fundraiser paid for staff appreciation week.
All teachers and staff got $25 gift card to a favorite place of theirs, raffle
baskets; lunches, treats, etc. for the entire week.
=
$42,000 netted for fundraising.
PRINCIPAL REPORT

VOTING: Pow Wow Shirts

450 kindergarten 450 approx youth T-shirts plus 100 staff shirts;
approx $6000 --- approved $6000 dollars
majority was in favor.
=
Voting: for Spirit wear items to upfront the cost to have items on
hand -- approved all in favor $5,000 upfront cost. Majority was in favor.
