Background checks:
Saturday August 26 the district is holding a mass screening for parents that would like to volunteer. Background checks are good for 5 years and can be completed at the Warren County Sheriff’s office for $65. Cash only
Parents wanting to volunteer during school hours or attend field trips MUST have a background check on file with the district.
Future meetings:
First Tuesday of every month 9:45 on the stage
Monthly Teacher Supply Refills:
VP will be in charge of asking volunteers to restock teacher work area as needed
Night Owls:
First Thursday of every month; 6pm-8pm. No background check needed. This is an opportunity for parents to meet in the cafeteria and complete jobs such as cutting, stapling and sorting for teachers. Sign up genius will be posted on prattle pages along with PTO FB page.
Sensory garden:
Sign up genius will be created for volunteers to help with weeding and other plant maintenance during the appropriate months.
PTO Fundrasing:
Funds raised by our two large fundraisers allow PTO to fund teacher start up funds, new playground equipment, field trips, staff mini grants, holiday gifts, ROAR shirts, staff appreciation meals and gifts and many more things.
Fall Spirit Wear:
Provided by 937Ink. More info to follow
Reimbursement Sheets:
Please fill out a reimbursement sheet any time you use your own money to purchase for the PTO. This form will be submitted to Kristin Tyler for reimbursement.
Secretary Vote:
Co Secretaries will be Amy Eckly and Ginette Collins.
Staff Appreciation co-chair will be Brittany Barber
Upcoming Events
Mumkin Sale (September) over $90k sold last year. September 23 is delivery date. Volunteers needed for entire day to help distribute. Meals provided.
Book fair (September and Spring.) Volunteers needed.
KG/PS (October) Trunk or treat is put on by the 1st grade parents to allow the KG and PS parents to participate with their child. This occurs on a Thursday evening in October where the buses drop off.
Santa Visit (December) children will be visited by Santa and Mrs Claus while teachers enjoy a mobile coffee bar.
