Welcome/Introductions
Terrah Stacy - Treasurer CFO Springboro Schools came to be special guest at the PTO meeting
A big thank you to the PTO and parents for raising funds to do things for our children at our schools.
Community organization meeting focusing on anti left in organizations like the PTO to protect our funds and organization. PTO is invited to attend informative meeting about best practices for protection
Five year funding forecast was shared that there will be a deficit in the coming years for Springboro Schools - a levy would provide more for our students. Levy conversations will begin in the coming months.

Workroom Supply List- Trina Townsend - November supplies have been restocked
Night Owls- Michelle Zehnder and Amanda Marquart - no sign ups as of yet will request more help on the PTO page
Trunk or Treat Recap
Total Cost - $1252 minus $132 given back from 937 Inc for their spirit items
PTO supplied one giant bag of candy per teacher giving out candy and purchased some items from 937 inc for favors
Amount of students in attendance -30 trunks total
Next Year? Yes but will need more encourage the trade off of splash night for 1st grade and prek and k trunk or treat
Staff Appreciation/Fundraising- Jenn Welter
Update on sponsors for Walk-a-thon - Working on corporate sponsors and local businesses in order to provide one t-shirt for each student. PTO has secured 2-3 we are are halfway to our goal
Parent Teacher Conference Meals- New Spring Church will provide one lunch and PTO provides the other lunch. Romos will be providing lunch one day, New Spring will be providing Chick-fil-a the other day
November Pie Slices November 18th- Staff appreciation for Thanksgiving the last day before Thanksgiving break PTO will ask 10 parents to donate one pie each and give each teacher a piece of pie in a box with an appreciation message. A sign up will be provided for parent volunteers
Upcoming Events:
Santa Visits Dec 12 and 13th volunteers will be requested to be a part of this day
Each teacher gets $40 ($80 for AM/PM teachers) for gifts for their classrooms . Deadline for wish lists is this Friday
Purchase of new inclusive playground equipment and Decodable Books
Quotes from Steve Ellis at Recreations Outlet- $7,675 for all instruments two instruments for each playground (1st grade and prek and k) or two instruments for $2,653 PTO passed to have two instruments per playground for $7,675
1 Quote for decodable books -$12,887 total for every kindergarten classroom and one set for advanced readers in 1st grade unanimous vote yes jess
