Welcome/Introductions
Treasurer’s Report - Kristen Tyler
Current Checking Account Balance- $47,533 (less $2,098.67 pending checks)
Fall Mini-Grants Approved and purchased we try to meet all needs and give every teacher what they need while maximizing PTO funds and school funds
Christmas Morning Gifts have been purchased- total spent $40 per classroom
School supply kits it is not profit making for PTO but ended up making $396.50 on extra change on each kit to make them the same price
Recap of November Staff Appreciation Pies
Well received possible next year let each teacher cut their own so when the crumble they are a little sloppy we want a good presentation for our teachers
Only cost to PTO was plates and silverware
All Pies were donated by parents
Santa Visit
December 12 and 13th
Post Signup Genius on Wednesday December 7th on PTO page- 2 volunteers per shift with 2 shifts (am and pm).
Cost $150/day plus lunch for Santa and Mrs. Claus
PTO approved to provide a cookie and coffee cart to go around to teachers during their Santa visit

Fundraising Update- Jenn Welter- Wednesday, March 29th for Walk-a-thon
99 Pledges
PTO letter to go out to corporate sponsors for our T-Shirts goal is to raise $20,000
99 Pledges for online pledges unique for each student and cash is also an option for pledges
937 quote- $5/shirt (normal price is $5.20) every student will get a t-shirt color coordinated by class
For every $10 raised student will get a ticket for a raffle for a chance to win a gift card the more raised the more chances to win and top selling classrooms will get a popcorn pajama party and a $100 to spend for the classroom
Principal Updates- Carrie Corder
Such a blessing to have decodable books paid by our school funds and not by PTO
Having 1st grade splash night at the intermediate school field this is pending spring sports this will on May 19th
Springboro Strategic Plan - PTO will be a part of encouraging students by highlighting careers and bringing in special speakers and people and retaining teachers and our substitute teachers.
Request to gift our preferred substitutes with something this year to thank them
First Grade winter concert tonight with a qr code with the program
The other half of First Grade will have their concert in May
Special Called Vote:
Musical Playground Equipment and Handicap Accessible Picnic Tables-3 tables (2 for playground shade and one for sensory garden)- $12,655 - VOTE YES
Preschool t-shirts- $5.90/shirt - 185 shirts needed -$1,091.50- Vote add this for next year, so they can have it for the whole year and get it at registration in the fall this will be on the order when we order mini blue crew - VOTE YES
Preschool Bikes- Asking for 3 at $299/bike (currently free shipping until 12/23) = $897 Lakeshore- VOTE YES
Author Visit for Mrs. Schlise- Amanda Driscoll-
(charge $175 per presentation, so four presentations would be $700 and five would be $875. If we do a pre-sale of my books and sell at least 50 books, I discount my rate to $150 per presentation. That would be $600 for four presentations and $750 for five. I would charge $90 for gas reimbursement. I have family in Covington, KY, so it's possible that I could stay with them and save the cost of a hotel room.”) -VOTE YES
1st grade Graeters Ice Cream -$550 ($6 a student) Ask parents to pay $5 each for their student to participate we PTO will pay $100 for hardship or any student whose parents have not paid - VOTE YES
There are 11 preferred subs in our building Carrie has requested PTO to purchase 11 $25 gift cards for our preferred subs. $300 - VOTE YES
