  • PTO Meeting dates for 2022-2023
*Meetings will be the first Tuesday of every month at 9:45 on the stage
  • Facebook page please be sure you like on facebook to see all the updates and events with the PTO
  • Monthly Teacher Supply Refills (for work room) 
*PTO is requesting one parent a month to volunteer to stock the work      room with supplies. (Highlighters, pens, glue sticks and post it notes)
 
  • Night Owls 
*First Thursday of the month from 6:30-8:30 in the cafeteria to cut things out and put things together for our teachers
 
  • Fall Spirit Wear Sales
    • September 26-October 7th PTO delivers to children in their classroom to take home
  • Fundraising Committee
    • Mumkins and Fun Run as our only two fundraisers for the year
PTO is looking for a Chair to oversee Duties include sending out a sign up genius once a month to sign up and overseeing night owls each month
  • Upcoming Events:
    • Mumkin Pick-Up Sept. 24th last year our profit was approx. $28,000 this is the PTOs biggest fundraiser need volunteers to unload in the morning, sort in the afternoon and distribute in the late afternoon
    • Jennifer Welter is fundraiser chair and is looking for volunteers to help her with prep for fundraisers. Please email Jenny Jackson or the PTO If you are interested
    • Book Fair Sept 26-30 we do assist with volunteering at this event
    • Kindergarten and Preschool Trunk or Treat Oct 27 6:00-7:00pm this is new this year from the PTO
    • Santa Visits Dec 12 and 13th
Misc
 
Biggest item our PTO purchased last year was the playground shade
Some examples of what the PTO fundraisers pay for:
New teachers get $500 to start their classroom
Start up funds for every homeroom teacher no matter the time here of $125
Other teachers get start up funds of a smaller amount
Mini grants to our teachers as well in the Spring and Fall
We give money towards the sensory garden
At Christmas time every class gets $40 (Kindergarten gets $80) on an amazon wish list which we purchase and  PTO wraps and delivers these gifts to them as a “Christmas morning”
Mini blue crew shirt to all kindergarteners and all new students
Field Trips and Children’s Theater
Field day and Kona ice
Military Breakfast
Trips to the K
Staff appreciation week
PTO has an excess in our budget so will talk to Mrs. Corder about another large item they would like purchased by the PTO
Kids are welcome at PTO meetings
Our non-profit/church affiliation is New Spring Church
